Some of the objects chosen to represent letters have clearly been chosen by someone not as familiar with the cartoon as my family is. For example, "C" is represented by George in a racing go cart rather than the family's car, or cake, both of which feature often in the cartoons. Another example is "Y" is represented with an image of a yacht but in the cartoons the image is always referred to as a sail boat, instead the image could have been the yo yo Peppa wants for Christmas. This might seem like a little thing to adults but this confused my little girl and made her feel like she had made a mistake. She still loves the book and it is a good way of introducing the alphabet.
