Not as amazing as everyone says. It's a great concept but I think the pocket Tutor series is better or orthonotes. The problem is there are a lot of wasted pages on pictures of muscles which by the time you are in your clinical placement you should know. Also why on earth are the muscles listed alphabetically and not by body system this makes no sense. Also the Neurological explanation is extremely basic and could have been written better (without sacrificing space). It's a good size and made of good quality materials (despite the first one being faulty) however it just misses the mark especially if you want this to be your 'one go to book' in your clinic pocket
This is a great little resource book to keep with you at work or in the classroom. A fantastic aide memoire that has masses of important information all in one handy pocket sized book, perfect for the tunic pocket!! Sections on anatomy and neuroanatomy really good nd a comprehensive list of useful MSK tests are great for students. Respiratory and Nuero sections also very helpful. I've found the section on pharmacology particluarly useful in the clinic as a quick reference guide for unfamiliar medication. As a physiotherapy teacher, I would thoroughly recommend this book for students.
A handy book, great content covering core areas of Physiotherapy. Each edition just keeps getting better with more content. From muscle attachments, special tests, common drugs and pathology this book is a must for all Physio’s from student to expert! Takes pride of place in our clinic!
