Gina Carrington is the type of woman who goes after something and no matter the cost, she will get what she wants in the end. In this case it is the handsome Carter Price, he is the brother of one of her closest friends, Marnie not to mention the fact that he is two weeks away from getting married. It doesn't take long for him to fall for her flirting and for things to start to fall apart right before everyone's eyes.

In next part, it picks up ten years after and a lot has changed since that night. Although Gina is not quite the woman she used to be, she hides a lot of herself inside and has secrets that could ruin the life she has built for herself. Though she feels it is high time, to put right the mistakes that she once made, apologising to Marnie is one thing but apologising to Carter is another.

Having not seen him since that night, she didn't expect to still feel the same way about him but just like her Carter has changed, he isn't the inexperienced young man he once was and he is willing to show Gina just what he is capable of. He had become a bit of a playboy since his failed marriage, but seeing Gina, he wants her and he will do anything to get her, it seems like this time around the roles are reversed.

Throwing in the upcoming wedding of one of her closest friends, where she is the maid of honor, Gina is faced with the ultimate problem. Should she give into her desires for one last night, could she really leave after it is all over, did she really want to look towards the past and not the future, and if she does decide to walk away would he let her. Sometimes the hardest thing is letting go, but then again sometimes letting go is just the beginning and not the end.

Maid of Dishonor is a cut above the rest from the passion and desire that fills the pages, to the characters that you fall in love with and the really who can resist a wedding that is thrown in as well.

If I had to sum this book up in three words, they would be Gina Carrington is the type of woman who goes after something and no matter the cost, she will get what she wants in the end. Oh I loved everything about this book from start to finish and never wanted it to end.

I love the 'past lovers reconciling' trope and Heidi Rice executed it perfectly in the latest instalment in the wonderful 'The Wedding Series'.

Sizzling chemistry, the past overcome, sexy characters - what more could you possible want in a contemporary romance, except more of the same?!

.... Please Heidi Rice can I have some more?

I have to confess, I read this one first but totally managed to get back into the rest of the series after. Gina was a great heroine and seemed REAL. Carter was hot and definitely kept me turning the pages. Overall, it was a really good quick read.

What a great romantic heartbreaking story, full of emotion and poignancy. The four girls were such a diverse group of friends who were there for each other in crisis. I look forward to reading book four.

I loved reading the novels in the wedding season. I like how each book interlinked each novel in and each characters story in. Lovely characters and great story lines definitely worth a read

I enjoyed this book, although it was shorter than I expected and had a really predictable ending. What else do you expect from a Mills & Boon story?

Loved the book, both met years ago, Gina and carter were both young, and Gina carefree and definately had loads of fun!

Took his virginity when he was attached and engaged and was waiting for the wedding night with Missy a girl he had met and was a family friend. He still went ahead and married and Gina went away with her relationship with Carters sister in tatters.

They did not speak for years ever since Gina went and purposely seduced his brother.

Years later they meet again when Gina wants to apologise and arranges to meet in the hotel that Carter arrives at, Sparks fly and the Chemisty is still there and end up in bed together. What Carter does not know is that that night she had gotten pregnant and been disowned by her father which moulded her into the person he she was today. It's the beginning of a journey to convince Gina that he really want's more than a fling!
