kindle not accepting password

my kindle is not accepting my password which I have used since I got my kindle, it is not lettng me log in.

Restart it by holding the power button on for 30 seconds, then leave it for a few seconds, then (if necessary) turn it on.

No, we can NOT send you email. HOWEVER< now that you have published your email address to everyone across the world, you can expect to receive lots of email messages that might appear to come from Amazon asking you for your bank account / amazon account details. You can be quite sure that those emails do NOT come from Amazon. I suggest you edit your post and remove your email address.

The question was asked a year ago. The question was answered a year ago. The asker confirmed the solution worked. I suggest you use the answer given!
