Download Photos from the Cloud

After you connect to a wireless network, you can download photos from your Amazon Drive to your Kindle Fire. Help for Kindle Fire (2nd Generation), Kindle Fire HD 7" (2nd Generation), and Kindle Fire HD 8.9" (2nd Generation).

Make sure your Kindle Fire is connected to a wireless network. To learn more, go to Connect to Wi-Fi.

  1. From Home, tap Photos, and then tap the Cloud tab to view photo albums stored on your Amazon Drive. When you link your Facebook account to your Kindle Fire, your Facebook photo albums also appear under the Cloud tab.
Tip: To add additional photos from Facebook, tap the Menu icon, tap Add Photos, and then tap Facebook. Your Facebook albums are imported into your Amazon Drive and available from the Cloud tab. If you choose to import again, only new photos you've added to Facebook will be imported.
  2. Press and hold an album, and then tap Download.
  3. Tap the Device tab to view your photos.
