About Priority Delivery in the UK

Priority delivery is now available for select items at no extra cost for Prime members. Due to long transport distances, delivery may take longer than for other Prime items. Customers will be provided with a guaranteed delivery date for their order.

This service is available to Amazon Prime members at no additional cost. If you’re not an Amazon Prime member you’ll be charged £5.99 per delivery for Media items, £3.95 for Clothing, Shoes and Bags and £7.99 per delivery for all other eligible items, regardless of the number of eligible items you order.

Note: A signature may be required on delivery of your order.

Orders are delivered two days after dispatch. Dispatch takes place either the day you place your order, or the day after, depending on the time of day your order is placed. Parcels going to residential addresses, excluding those containing alcohol, may be delivered on Sundays and some UK Bank Holidays. Your delivery date will be clearly displayed before you place your order.

We use a range of carriers to provide our Priority Delivery service and delivery time frames may vary by carrier, but all deliveries will be attempted by 21:00. After placing your order you can check the delivery date of your order from Your Account.

Orders that are fulfilled by and dispatched via a carrier who provides tracking information can be tracked in Your Account. Please check this information, if available, and read through the following options:

  • If the tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please check with your neighbours or family members. Packages are occasionally left with neighbours, a building manager, or are placed somewhere safe, such as your porch or garage.
  • If the tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.
  • If your parcel doesn't arrive by the estimated delivery date, please Contact Us.
