Transfer Your Amazon Music Account to Another Marketplace

You can move your Amazon Music account to the Amazon marketplace for your country of residence (e.g. Amazon.com to Amazon.co.uk, etc.) and retain access to all your previously purchased music in your Music Library.

To be eligible to transfer your Amazon Music account, you must have an address in the country you're changing your Amazon Music marketplace to, and either an IP address from that country or a payment method issued by a bank in that country.

To transfer your Amazon Music account:

  1. Go to Your Amazon Music Settings in Your Account.
  2. Go to Your Country Settings. The resulting page will suggest a marketplace you can transfer to if you already have an address and payment method on your account from an eligible country of residence. Otherwise, the page will only list Amazon.com.
  3. Select change if the marketplace you'd like to transfer to isn't displayed as your country of residence.
  4. Click Transfer your Amazon Music.
  5. Fill-in the local Payment Method and Billing Address prompts, and click Confirm transfer to [MARKETPLACE].

After you complete the transfer and accept your new marketplace's Terms of Use, you'll immediately have access to your music library if you're accessing it from the web, and all of your existing content will be available. If you try accessing your Amazon Music account from a mobile device or tablet, there may be up to a 30 minute delay with re-syncing your account to your device.

Note: If you use the Amazon Music iOS app to listen to your music, you may need to sign out and back in again to re-sync your Amazon Music account after you've transferred marketplaces.
