Authorise Your Device

All devices used to import or download music using Amazon Music must be authorised to your Amazon account, based on our license agreements with the content providers.

To manage the devices authorised to your Amazon Music account, go to the Manage Your Devices section of Your Amazon Music Settings Your Amazon Music Settings ( full site) page.

To authorise your device:
  1. Attempt to import, download, or play music from Your Music Library Your Music Library ( full site).
  2. Click or tap Authorise in the pop-up window that appears.

Note: You can have up to 10 devices authorised to your account, and each device can only be authorised to one Amazon Music account at a time. If there are 10 devices authorised to your account, you can't authorise an additional device until you:

  • De-authorise a device and, after waiting 30 days, authorise a new device in its place.
  • De-authorise all of your devices (this can only be done once every 365 days) allowing you to immediately authorise a new device.
