Authorise Your Device

All devices used to upload or download music through Amazon Music must be authorised to your Amazon account, based on our license agreements with content providers.

Video: Managing Your Amazon Music Devices

To authorise your device:
  1. Go to My Music or launch the Amazon Music app on your device.
  2. Sign in using information for your preferred Amazon account.
  3. Start playing or downloading a song or album.
  4. Select Authorise in the pop-up window that opens.

To manage the devices authorised to your Amazon account, go to Your Amazon Music Settings and look for the Manage Your Devices section.

Note: You can have up to 10 devices authorised to your account and each device can only be authorised to one Amazon Music account at a time. If there are 10 devices authorised to your account, you can't authorise an additional device until you deauthorise one. For more information about deauthorising devices, go to Deauthorise Your Device.
