Import Your Music

To play your personal music collection in your music library, use the Amazon Music Importer to import your music.

To import your music, do the following:
  1. Go to your music library at https://www.amazon.co.uk/musiclibrary https://www.amazon.co.uk/musiclibrary (Amazon.co.uk full site) from a web browser on the computer you want to import your music from.
  2. Click Import Your Music.
  3. If prompted to install the Amazon Music Importer, follow the on-screen instructions. 4. Once the Amazon Music Importer has found your music in iTunes, Windows Media Player, or your selected folder, click Import all or choose the music you want to import and click Import selected.

  • Customers can import up to 250 songs to their music library for free. Amazon Music customers can upgrade their account to import up to 250,000 songs. Amazon Digital Music purchases do not count towards these limits.
  • Some record companies require us to insert identifiers in the metadata that accompanies music when you download it from the Digital Music Store or your music library. For more information, go to About Record Company Required Metadata.
