Clear the Furthest Page Read

The Furthest Page Read feature allows you to stop reading your book or periodical and pick up where you left off on another Fire tablet, Kindle e-reader or Kindle reading app that is registered to the same Amazon account.

After you've finished reading your book or periodical, we recommend clearing the furthest page read to prevent your title from opening at the last page on other devices that are registered to the same account.

To clear the furthest page read for a title:

  1. Go to Manage Your Content and Devices.
  2. Locate the correct title on the Your Content tab.
  3. Click the Actions button, select Clear furthest page read and then select the Clear Furthest Page Read button to confirm.

The next time you open the title on your Fire tablet, Kindle e-reader or Kindle reading app, the page where it opens will become the new furthest page read and will sync across all devices that are registered to the same account.
