Your recommendations are based on the items you've purchased from us and the behaviour of other customers who've bought the same items.
Recommendations change immediately when you purchase or rate a title. Your list will change constantly, so it's a good idea to add items that interest you to your Wish List, which you can share with others.
How to tell us you already own or are not interested in an item we've recommended
Go to the recommendations homepage and click the recommendations link for the item's product group (e.g., "more books recommendations"). Click the "I Own It" or "Not Interested" button next to the appropriate item.
How to stop us basing recommendations on particular items you've purchased
You may have bought items for other people using your Amazon.co.uk account, especially around Christmas time. If you don't want us to recommend similar items to you, click here and sign in. You'll see a page that lists all the purchases you've made using your Amazon.co.uk account, with the option to rate purchases or exclude them completely.
How to tell us about other items you like but didn't buy from Amazon.co.uk
If you've got a favourite thing--a book you love, or a fantastic MP3 player--but you didn't buy it from Amazon.co.uk, we can still base recommendations on it. Go to the item's product information page and use the blue "Recommendations" box on the left-hand side to rate it. You can also use this feature to tell us about items you don't like.
