You'll only receive messages in specific cases where we feel it'll help to ensure your delivery is successful.
For example, if there seems to be an issue with the delivery address, or if the carrier needs to contact you about the delivery. If you selected Amazon Locker as your delivery address, you'll receive a message when your parcel has arrived and is ready for collection.
Messages are sent between 8am and 9pm. If something happens with your parcel outside these hours, you'll receive a text message when service resumes the next morning.
We'll always try to send you tracking updates as soon as possible, but sometimes delays can occur. This can happen for a number of reasons, including if the carrier sends us tracking data later than expected, or the tracking data reaches us outside the hours when we send texts. Network congestion or other processing delays on your mobile service provider's side can also result in a delay to text delivery.
