When you place a pre-order for an item offering Release Day Delivery and you select either Standard Delivery or One Day Delivery (available for eligible postcodes only), Amazon.co.uk will dispatch your order prior to the release day, with the intention that it arrives with you on the actual release day.
Release Day Delivery is only available for items displaying the Release Day Delivery offer message on their product description pages. Items that don't display the Release Day Delivery offer message aren't eligible for this service.
If you need to make changes to your order, you should do so no later than four days before the release day if you chose Standard Delivery and no later than two days before the release day if you chose One Day delivery. Any changes to your order, for example changes to the delivery address or delivery option, may affect your order's eligibility for Release Day Delivery or FREE Release Day Delivery (as applicable).
Although a signature isn't required for most Release Day Delivery items, some deliveries will require a signature and we can't guarantee that our carrier will leave a package at the delivery address if no one's available to accept it. If the package isn't left on your doorstep on the release date, the carrier should leave a note explaining your options for re-delivery or picking up the package.
