What is Auto Play?

Auto Play gives you the option to automatically play episodes of a TV series back-to-back.

Auto Play shows you the Next Up episode in a TV series at the end of the currently playing episode, while the credits roll.

Note: At this time, Auto Play is only available on selected devices. To see which of your devices support Auto Play:

  1. Go to Prime Video Devices & Features.
  2. Find your device.
  3. Check the Auto Play option.

To manage your Auto Play preferences:

  1. Go to your Prime Video Settings - Playback.
  2. Under Playback, turn Auto Play ON or OFF.
Tip: You can also turn Auto Play on or off from the Settings menu in the Prime Video app for Android and iOS.

With Auto Play turned ON, the next episode in the series starts playing automatically once the current episode is over. The next six episodes in the series play one after another.

You can also select the Next Up box to quickly skip ahead to the next episode. To close the Next Up box, select the Hide option.

On some devices, Auto Play may also recommend titles for you to watch. Videos you’ve recently viewed, purchased, or added to your Watchlist help determine these recommendations.

Note: If you have viewing restrictions enabled, a "lock" Viewing Restrictions Lock
icon displays for video suggestions in your restricted categories, and playback will not start until you enter your parental controls PIN. For more information about viewing restrictions, see How to Set Prime Video Parental Controls .

With Auto Play turned OFF, Next Up still displays at the end of your currently playing video, but the next video won't start playing automatically.
