About Using Your Email and Calendar with Alexa

To manage calendar events and emails using your voice, connect your supported email and calendar accounts to Alexa.

You can ask Alexa about your most recent email or reply to, delete, and archive emails. You can also ask about scheduled calendar events or add, delete, and move events.

Please note:

  • Your linked calendar and email are stored in the Cloud. This enables features like moving calendar events, searching for events on your calendar, and sending an email to a particular recipient.
  • Anyone with access to your Alexa devices is able to ask about your email or events on your linked calendars.
  • If you're unable to connect your G-Suite or Office 365 account, check with your administrator for any special policies that apply to your account.
  • If you have multiple calendars in one account, you may be prompted to select which calendar Alexa is able to access.

Supported calendars

  • Apple – Link your iCloud calendar.
  • Google - Link your Gmail or G Suite email or calendar accounts.
  • Microsoft Office 365 – Link your Office 365 work calendar.
  • Microsoft Outlook.com - Link your personal email or calendar. Includes email addresses ending in @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, and @live.com.
  • Microsoft Exchange - Exchange support is currently only available through Alexa for Business.
