The Amazon Renewed Guarantee gives you:

  • A replacement or refund within 1 year of receipt if the product does not work as expected
  • The same standard return policy as on most purchases on Amazon if the product does not look like new
  • Quick support for claims and free troubleshooting via a single point of contact at Amazon


If you are a consumer the Amazon Renewed Guarantee is in addition to the legal warranty; the Seller guarantee (if any); and your consumer rights under applicable law. The Amazon Renewed Guarantee does not jeopardise these rights in any way

Amazon Renewed Guarantee Claim Procedure

If the product does not work as expected within 1 year of receipt, contact us at Amazon Renewed:

Via Your Orders Page: You can click the ‘Get Product Support’ button next to the Renewed product purchased on the ‘Your Orders' page within 1 year of your purchase.

In the above options, a dedicated customer service associate will first troubleshoot the problem. If the troubleshooting process does not fix your issue, you can get a replacement unit if one is available. If a replacement isn’t available, you will get a full refund. The option for a replacement unit is only available for products fulfilled by Amazon.

You will need to return your defective unit at no charge to you. If you do not return the unit within 1 year of receipt, you may get charged the original amount you paid for the item. If you choose to get a full refund and purchase a new item that has a shipping cost, you will need to pay for that shipping cost.

Note: You must save and back up all your data, switch off any phone tracking options on the device and perform a factory-reset to remove personal data before returning your defective unit. If these steps are not performed, the device will not qualify for a replacement or refund. On qualifying products, you may get the option to use an Amazon approved repair service instead of a replacement. In this case, you will not be required to save and back up all your data, as the repair provider will return the product to you.
