Amazon.co.uk classifies certain items as "Large" based on product weight and/or dimensions.
These items are delivered by our specialist carrier. The available delivery options for Large Items are: 4 Hour Delivery Window, Nominated Day Delivery and Standard Delivery.
We offer 4 Hour Delivery Windows for some heavy or bulky items being delivered to certain destinations. If your item and your postcode are eligible, you'll be given the option to choose a 4 Hour Delivery Window at checkout and pick a day and delivery slot that works best for you within the next 14 days. Delivery date availability may vary by region. The available delivery slots for eligible postcodes are between 07:00 – 11:00, 11:00 – 15:00 and 15:00 – 19:00. If you don't see a delivery time for your postcode, you can still complete the order for your selected item(s) using Nominated Day Delivery or Standard Delivery. Orders for large items can be scheduled for delivery to commercial and residential addresses using our 4 Hour Delivery Window service. A signature will be required upon delivery. If you need to change your 4 Hour Delivery Window after your order has been placed, you can do so through Your Account. If your item and delivery address are eligible for Nominated Day Delivery, you'll be given this delivery option at checkout while placing the order. With Nominated Day Delivery, you'll be able to select a day that works best for you, up to 14 days in advance. Deliveries are made between 07:00 and 19:00 on your chosen day. Nominated Day Delivery service isn't available for P.O. Box addresses or BFPO addresses.

Standard delivery is available nationwide for all large items. With Standard Delivery, most orders will be delivered within 3-5 business days (Monday to Saturday). If you order to one of the postcodes listed here, then your delivery will be made within 5-10 business days by a special third party carrier that will contact you by phone to schedule a delivery time suitable for you (Monday to Friday).
We recommend that you include a contact phone number as part of your delivery address. The delivery driver may contact you by phone on the delivery day (30-60 minutes prior to the driver's arrival), provided they have a valid mobile phone number, to introduce themselves and let you know that they're on the way.
Upon delivery, the carrier will take the item inside your property, check the product for apparent damage and ask you to sign a delivery confirmation. Remember that these items are large. To ensure the item will fit through the necessary access points, please check the product size information on the relevant detail page. The delivery driver can place your item in a room of your choice up to the second floor at your designated delivery address, provided it's safe to do so.
If you're not available at the prearranged time or if you missed your delivery, please contact Amazon Customer Service to reschedule. If the item doesn't fit through the access points to your property, the item will be returned to Amazon and you will be issued with a full refund.
If you cancel your purchase using your Statutory Rights or our 30-day returns guarantee, and the return is not the result of our error, you will bear the cost of returning the item. For large items these costs may be higher than usual return costs. You may incur estimated return costs of up to £50 for large items.
If you order an item from a Marketplace Seller, please check the delivery method offered to confirm the process for that specific delivery. If the Seller offers Arranged Delivery, you will be contacted by the Seller or Courier within 2 business days of the order to schedule a convenient delivery. This may take place over phone, email or SMS. If the Seller offers Scheduled Delivery, you will select your delivery date from a calendar prior to Checkout. If the Seller offers neither of these delivery types, please contact the Seller directly if you have any questions regarding delivery.
