Accidentally Purchased Content on Fire Tablet

If you accidentally purchased digital content from Amazon on your Kindle Fire, you may be eligible to return the item. Help for Kindle Fire (2nd Generation), Kindle Fire HD 7" (2nd Generation), and Kindle Fire HD 8.9" (2nd Generation).

You can return eligible Kindle books and comics from Manage Your Content and Devices.

You may be able to request a refund for books purchased from the Kindle Store within fourteen days of purchase through Manage Your Content and Devices or by contacting Customer Service.

  1. Go to Manage Your Content and Devices and locate the book you want to return.
  2. Click the Actions […] button next to the title and select Return for refund.

Amazon Appstore and Digital Music purchases are not returnable after purchase. If you're having difficulty accessing, playing, or downloading an item after purchase, contact Kindle Support

Purchases from Prime Video can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase provided you have not attempted to stream/download the video. For more information, go to Cancel an Accidental Prime Video Order.
