Kindle Personal Documents Service is a free tool that allows you to send select file types directly to Fire tablets, Kindle e-readers, and supported Kindle reading apps registered to your Amazon account. These documents can be sent from an authorized email address or a Send to Kindle application.
Kindle Personal Documents Service is compatible with:
You can send documents to your compatible devices by emailing the documents to your Send to Kindle email address. Your Send to Kindle email address is a unique address that is assigned to you when you register your compatible device. Amazon doesn't charge fees for delivery of personal documents to your Kindle e-readers over Wi-Fi or that are transferred via USB. However, if you use any local wireless data service from your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone or tablet to deliver personal documents, data traffic fees might be charged by the service provider. You can also send documents to your compatible devices from a Send to Kindle application. For more information about Send to Kindle applications, see Send Documents to Your Fire Tablet, Kindle E-Reader, or Kindle Reading App.
Kindle Personal Documents Service supports the following file types:
You can only receive personal documents from email addresses you have approved.
To add an approved email address:

Amazon doesn't charge fees for delivery of personal documents to Fire tablets & Kindle e-readers over Wi-Fi, that are transferred via USB or that are delivered to supported Kindle reading apps. However, there is a document processing fee for Kindle Personal Document Service if you use Whispernet on Kindle e-readers.
Fees for Kindle Personal Document Service via Whispernet are based on the size of the file submitted, your country of residence and where you're accessing Whispernet.
If possible, we will attempt to deliver your document via Wi-Fi rather than Whispernet; if successful, no document processing fee will be charged.
To set your personal documents charge limit:
Kindle Personal Documents Service is not available via Whispernet in Canada, Japan, Brazil, Australia, Mexico, China and certain other countries. If you reside in one of these countries, we recommend connecting to Wi-Fi to receive your personal documents, or going to Transfer Documents Via USB for information about USB transferring documents to your Fire table or Kindle e-reader.
