Customer Review

18 December 2008
I read this book in 3 days flat, in between all the other things life gets cluttered with, given the spare time it would have been read in one sitting!

As a veteran real life adventure reader (Chris Bonington etc.) this was the first seagoing adventure story that I had read. It may well be the last, why would I want to read another, this one had it all, humour, fear, self doubt, philosophy and most of all proof of the undying human spirit. By the last page I felt that I knew Dave Clarke, who unabashedly opened his heart & soul, as well as revealing an unholy lust for digestive biscuits that hints at a touch of lunacy!
