Customer Review

25 May 2018
When a colleague gave me this book to read, I was expecting a mindless and boring tome on how scale agile by adding lots of formal workflow and process around it (in the mold of SAFe) - especially as he said he was given it as part of a training course while working at Oracle - the home of the type of highly paid consultants who live by persuading customers that every problem can be solved by using their magic, very expensive and complex proprietary tools and processes.

In fact it's exactly the opposite. The authors really push home the point that agile is all about keeping things as simple as possible and cutting out waste and unnecessary bureaucracy, with lots of useful examples and things to think about. I find after reading it, I have a much better formed idea of agile philosophy and have turned from an cynic into a bit of an agile zealot.
