Customer Review

26 March 2018
A large number of typos in this electric edition. G. Orwell: wonderful man, great writer, lousy novelist, I always say. In fact this picks up after the day when he gets drunk, about 1/3rd or half way through (the pagination is weird, too - where does Kindle get the idea it is only 109 pp long?). The first 1/3rd, G. Comstock’s continual moaning about how poor he is, is frightfully dull and repetitive. (And yes, I know it’s v. autobiographical)
