This camera strap takes the weight from your neck without requiring an underarm strap as well - as some models do. It's well-made, comfortable, and has good quality components. I use it with the Joby camera tether as a 'belt and braces' approach. I have used it underneath a back pack with both a chest and waist strap. That worked OK - although I generally just left the Joby strap fastened at it shortest setting. In terms of usability, the cheap Focus F-1 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B013HKZI7O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 is actually good - however, in practice I found the underarm strap of the F-1 a nuisance. The Joby strap does not bother with this addition. Good call, I think. In addition the fixing to the camera on the F-1 does not look as good quality as the fixing system Joby uses. So I'm sticking with the Joby now.
