Horribly True Story of one mothers fight to expose the cruel machinery of UK Government who clearly decided that the death of a few thousand was an acceptable price to pay to avoid the loss of millions.

Tough decision? Probably not for them, when the thousands were the unknowing users of food & medicines and the millions were the profit flowing from an ever cheapening source of BSE polluted poison masquerading as food or bio products.

While the ruling intelligentsia & elite could discretely avoid exposure, the public were assured that there was no BSE risk to protect the Exchequer, Agri-business, Exports and the UKs reputation abroad. Impossible? Nope not with a 15-20 year incubation period, ensuring the true extent of the disaster would only be revealed only after those responsible had safely moved on and ensured that any "lessons to be learned" were focused on the future rather than that pesky criminal responsibility thing.

It's also a story of tragedy, grief, loss, breakdown and the human spirit of one remarkable woman. Not perfectly written - but frankly - if I'd had to face what she did I'd struggle to write a sentence.
