used for the first time at the weekend, goes together very simply (could pack completely flat if design was slightly cleverer) and had first fire with just a few logs propped up in the corner, didn't produce as much heat as the equivalent in the open sided firepits i've used before, perhaps again a few holes in the sides high up might help here. next night I filled it up and it was fantastic. So be prepared to go through a few logs and it'll keep you very warm. It is quite big, could easily lose 10cm off the overall side lengths and probably be just as good. Didn't drop any ash, easy to clean, make sure you dry it out well though I imagine it would go rusty very quickly. Expensive for what it is.
