I really enjoyed Reunion of the Heart by Elaine Jeremiah. A thoroughly pleasant and easy read - a page-turner actually. I found myself wondering how Anna was doing when I wasn't reading the book and looked forward to the next time I could delve into her world. I can see many sparks of impressive narrative from this relatively new author which I hope she develops as she furthers her literary career. Examples of these were 'in the dismal post-divorce house her mother called home' and 'the wind almost blowing her words away'. I imagined this young woman, Anna, in the locations and situations the author placed her in. I think I'm going to miss her for a while, she almost seems like a friend.
