What a great book, I've got a lot of cookbooks and this one is my new "go to" book and already looking well thumbed. All the photos look appetising and not many books I can say I've made around half the recipes in a few weeks. Ok, so you need to spend over a pound to make most of the recipes as you can't buy 2 rashers of bacon or a single chicken thigh etc, but freeze what you don't use and save for the next time. I've made loads of the recipes and each and every one has impressed and can be easily doubled, quadrupled etc. Some really good kitchen skills to try your hand at too, deboning a chicken leg and making a ballotine was a first for me. A little fiddly but worth it for a restaurant quality dish. Also great for using up leftovers, a few grams of mince, ½ a tin of tomatoes, couple of new potatoes rolling about in the fridge, no problem it's all in here. Can't wait for the next one.
