A Slav hitman robs a rival Albanian gang of coke worth £2million - then loses his gun, a prized Slav Tokarev. While the gangsters arm up to replay the Balkan War on the streets of London, the gun ends up being passed about by a group of hip young habitués of seedy Soho, each finding the weapon fits perfectly in their palm and adds a layer of confidence they never knew they had. We meet a runaway schoolgirl, Bella, a girl with a grudge; a trannie named Trilby; Martin, the vain public schoolboy with a chip on his shoulder; the bored, beautiful model, Greta, and Krishna, son of a judge, a small time dealer trying to save the life of a girl enslaved by the Albanians and get back to his roots.

Cocaine Confidence is a fast-paced thriller with plenty of action, some fantastic characters who stick in the mind and a plot that keeps you gripped till the very last page. There's blood and mayhem, but there's some humour, too and, without giving too much away, the road out of hell leads to redemption.
