Customer Review

22 December 2009
The book spans the life of Thomas Clarkson from the time he started his education and gives a clear understanding of the man and his convictions. There are times in the book that lead to confusion because it jumps back and forth to diffrent times and situations, this does not help you when trying to picture his life in time/date order. The information about Thomas Clarkson as a family man is very thin on the ground, also how his living was earned is not always clear. I found the book useful as I wanted to know if Thomas was an ancestor of mine and I have used it for the research on my family history - no he was not.
