I've bought knock-off flexible tripods for mirrorless-DSLR sized cameras before but this is built better. -There is no flimsy plastic neck or tiny ball joint to snap - so I hope this will be quite durable. -The foam grips are comfortable, with grippy rubber feet at the base. -I think these bendy metal legs (inside the foam) hold their shape better than the ball-joint type legs. -This unit is cheap but remember to add your own ball-head for easy camera levelling. *This tripod loses one star for the screw thread which is hard to tighten down securely without it spinning. *The screw thread is not locked to the tripod so you will have to hold your camera/ballhead still whilst screwing the tripod screw into it (with a flathead screwdriver). In the process of trying to get it tight I also slightly damaged the plastic spacer (which deformed under the pressure - metal washer fixed this). +Still, bigger, better and stronger than most of the gorillapod rip-offs and it looks good too!
