I read about the EOD diet in the Times on Saturday. I couldn't wait until the book came out on Thursday so I started the diet on Monday. It is Friday morning now, my 3rd fast day, and I have lost 4lb :)
I now have the book on my Kindle and it is a great book and really easy to read.
The diet is really simple, eat 500 calories on your fast day and eat what you want on your feast day. Throw in some exercise and the results will be even better.
One of the best bits about the book are the meal suggestions, there are 28 recipes for 400 cal lunches, 28 dinners and 28 100 cal snacks. The recipes are easy and don't have huge ingredients lists of expensive items that are hard to find.
Fingers crossed that my success continues.
20th January update I have been on the diet for 2 weeks now and have lost 9.5 lbs. Very happy :) I am finding fast days very easy but must admit to sometimes bingeing on feast days, I hope I get control of this soon.
