I don’t normally read much about animals or natural history but I do find lions interesting. And this book made me even more interested in the magnificent species. The books tells the story of lions from the Ice Age to the present day. Fascinating. And written in an easy-to-read and creative style. There are quite a lot of facts but the facts give you the whole picture about the sorry state lions and other wildlife are in today. Overall, I found it an inspiring read.
