Ask any copywriter what books to read on the subject and you'll get a different list every time. But on all those different lists, you'll find a handful of books that will make the cut on each one. Books so highly recommended, that owning a copy is a real must if you're serious about writing persuasive words to sell products and services. I think I can safely say that Copywriting Made Simple is one of those books.
This book is so easy to read and hits just the right spot in its tone and style (if you've read any of Tom's blogs or even read his tweets, you'll know where I'm coming from). Split into three parts covering all the essentials of copy - planning, writing, and improving - everything is looked at in detail but without overwhelming you. Among its content are chapters that you can read again and again whenever you need to dip in - whether it's to help you when you're stuck for ideas or when you need to find ways to sharpen your copy.
If you've finished a tough week trying to get your copy in order, you could do a lot worse than read this book over the weekend. Come Monday morning, you'll be reinvigorated and have a bootful of sound advice, tips, tricks and inside info to make your copy come alive. Recommended reading whether you're an absolute beginner or a grizzled pro.
