This review is from: Action Movie Freak (Paperback)
Hell, this hurts...Frankly, not even the worst action movie deserves to be written about the way Katrina Hill does here. Overly simplistic, fanbased and noncritical, the book seems to be aiming for readers between 8 and 12 years of age. It's short on true insights /but it does have lovely movie stills, gotta love 'em/, nevertheless, somehow still manages to be quite entertaining read, provided that You drunk beyond caring and You also consider Wikipedia enormously thrilling. Missed opportunity...

This review is from: Kingdom Of The Wicked (Hardcover)
Well, shall i start with the fact, that this book is quite similar to The Dark Half by S. King ? Oh, blimey, I already did and almost gave away the twist of the story. Even then, this book is well worth of Your purchase and attention because, some of us need to be reminded, time from time, of the things that we left behind with our childhood. Or this is only my own reading and You will be able to find different facet to the eternal story presented here. You only need to pick this up....

Supergod Volume 1 (Supergod Tp)

5.0 out of 5 stars I would only like to point out one thing, 30 Aug. 2014

This book by W.Ellis is five out of five, no question. I would only like to point out one thing: Notice the fact that prof. Reddin looks eerily similar to Stan Lee,which puts the whole thing into entirely different light, not so far away from Planetary, major difference here being that while Planetary seems to be a lovingly crafted send up to the Age of Pulp /among many other things, though/, Supergod is not so veiled in its fingerpointing....

Voodoo Histories: The Role of the Conspiracy Theory in Shaping Modern History

2.0 out of 5 stars Case of skilled writer with nothing to say..., 4 Feb. 2013
Well, for starters I've got to admit that for one reason or another, I happen to like conspiracy theories. As it goes then, I've been really curious about this book, because I had hopes, that author of Voodoo Histories will have enough skill, balls and knowledge to put some of better known CTs to test. Truth be said, there is some skill in this book, hence two stars, but the rest is...well poor. There is nothing here that You would not read in any other CT bashing book or article, worse, author seems to be one of them fellas that stroke Your hair telling You : "Everything is ok", while the world turns more and more crazy. Typical believer of everything official and government approved. To put my rant into context: Not that I believe in every single CT out there, but even less do I believe in honest governments and independent press.
My opinion is, that by writing this lil'book here, author did disservice not only to himself, but to CT bashing as well. Because, if this is the best what he and his likes got, I would rather read David Icke...
