3.0 out of 5 stars LEXMARK 33 ONLY A STARTER CARTRIDGE, GO FOR THE 35XL HIGH YIELD!!, 10 Jan. 2012
When Lexmark sell you a new printer they supply a Lexmark 33 colour and a Lexmark 32 black cartridge. Well these cartridges only hold 11mls colour & 12mls black ink in them which is written in really really small writing on the backs of the cartridge boxes. For higher yield cartridges what you really need is the Lexmark 34XL black which holds 22mls of ink and for the colour you should be using the Lexmark 35XL cartridge which holds 18mls of ink. There is a company that I have also found (advantage online) which stock the Lexmark originals and a British premium compatible 34/35XL's version which holds 27mls of ink in each cartridge and work just the same. Lexmark make there money out of selling you a very good printer (X5410) but then sell you cartridges that have hardly any ink in them (32 & 33). Don't fall into the Lexmark ink con trap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Such a brilliant album, her voice is amazing with an increadible vocal range that is experienced through 13 great songs!

One Of The Boys- brilliant opening, good lyrics, catchy.
I Kissed A Girl- no explanation needed!
Waking Up In Vegas- again billiant, catchy, great build up.
Thinking Of You- good song, ballad about an ex.
Mannequin- critics say is horrible, i say unique brilliance, class.
Ur So Gay (Edited)- disappointing, download class american version.
Hot N Cold- fantastic catchy tune, you will dance.
If You Can Afford Me- again, full of attitude and catchy!
Lost (Edited)- good song, vocal range superb here.
Self Inflicted- excellent song, sing along to this- LOUD!
I'm Still Breathing- another ballad- good song.
Fingerprints- another good song, catchy.

There is also a hidden bonus version of 'I Kissed A Girl'- the 'Rock Mix' which is utterly brrilliant! Overall I love this album and can't stop listening to it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, Fun, Cheeky, Uplifting Album!, 8 Dec. 2011
This review is from: Teenage Dream (Audio CD)
i absolutely loved this album. its by far my fav. album ive listened to this year.

first of all its such fun, 'California Gurls' obviously is a great catchy summer track everyones aware of. Teenage Dream, the second single of the album is equally feelgood and catchy.

..but the best songs are yet to be released, the album is full of all sorts of different sounds, and moods and themes, yet it all strangely gels together. listening to it, its quite suprising how good all the songs are.

'Last Friday Night' is a great song, about all the crazy things you do when drunk, it reminded me a little bit of britney spears' song 'blur'.

there is the cheeky track 'Peacock', there is the awesomely uplifting (and one of my favs on the album) Firework which is about been individual and yourself and full of life, then theres the anger of a relationship went wrong in the full-on 'Circle The Drain'.

'The One That Got Away' is a sweet track about lost love, and the regret of losing it and having to move on, its actually really sweet.

'E.T' is AWESOME lol, very catchy tune and after a few listens, you find yourself singing along.

'What am i living for' was actually one of the suprises of the album, she sounds very rocky here, very different from the kooky katy we often hear in songs, its actually a great song, and i love the whole feel of it, when u hear it you'll understand what i mean.

'Pearl' is a song a lot of women will be able to relate to, its about a man holding u down, and been in a relationship where you are no longer yourself, you've lost youre shine and the essence of who you are, listening to it, britney spears came into my head.
its actually a really nice song with a nice and hopeful ending.

'Hummingbird Heartbeat' is about love and the effect of finding that someone who makes youre heart skip a beat, its a fun song, i liked it. and finally...

'not like the movies' which is a lovely ballad, katy said i read in an interview she had written half of this before she met russell and then the last half with him in mind. anway, i REALLY like this one.

my personal favs on the album are: 'Teengage Dream', 'Firework', 'The One That Got Away', 'E.T', and 'What am i Living for'

if youre not sure about buying it, i reccomend it 100%. i love playing this full blast in my car. its one of those albums that instantly puts you in an awesome mood and makes you want to sing along at the top of youre lungs...and what more could you want than that?

Just Dance 2 (Wii)
Just Dance 2 (Wii)
Offered by Excess Gaming
Price: £12.50

4.0 out of 5 stars Just Dance 2 senses your movements better then the 1st game., 3 Dec. 2011
This review is from: Just Dance 2 (Wii) (Video Game)
I still think if Ubisoft make a Just Dance 3 that it should have Motion-Plus controls because there is still room for improvement at times. Also the Just Dance games sell like hot cakes so it would make sense to put the extra time and money into it so that it's the best one can possible do with the hardware that we have available.
There are 45 new hit songs for you enjoy which range from Dance, Latin, Pop, Rock and R n' B. I really like the new "Just Sweat" mode which gives you points for amount of energy you burn off. If you play this game for about one hour you can really tell that you have been working out.
My favourite tracks for to dancing to are A-Punk by Vampire Weekend, Walk Like An Egyptian by Bangles, Viva Las Vegas by Elvis Presley and I Want You Back by The Jackson 5.
Overall if liked the first Just Dance game then you will love this one because it's been improved upon in all areas.

Cherrybomb [DVD]
Cherrybomb [DVD]
Dvd ~ Rupert Grint
Offered by best_value_entertainment
Price: £2.16

4.0 out of 5 stars Refreshing!, 30 Aug. 2011
This review is from: Cherrybomb [DVD] (DVD)
Saw this at the cinema when it first came out and it was a brilliant film. It was refreshing to see Rupert in another role, one totally different from his character in Harry Potter. The film is a serious one, with humour, and some gob smacking moments. Definitely worth a watch.

The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games

5.0 out of 5 stars You'll be Hungry for more!, 30 Aug. 2011
This review is from: The Hunger Games (Paperback)
I heard about this and got advised to read it a few times. I put if off, and off until I was bored and went to library. I saw it and decided its now or never. Well, I HAD to buy the next two to find out what happened because I couldn't wait for to get it in. My friend read the first in 12 hours, the 'Catching Fire' (2nd Book) in 24 and 'Mockingjay' (3rd book) in just 8 hours.)

Its such a wonderful read, it keeps you gripped, puzzled and entertained through out. Some of the killings are quiet graphic, without been disturbing which is what books these days are lacking. The fight for survival has you on the edge of your seat throughout.

I believe this will be almost as big as Harry Potter and as big as, if not bigger then, Twilight.

Don't hold back the reading of this, click buy and get reading. You won't regret it.

The Inbetweeners - Series 1-3 - Complete [DVD]
The Inbetweeners - Series 1-3 - Complete [DVD]
Dvd ~ Simon Bird
Offered by Willcox Trading
Price: £7.87

5.0 out of 5 stars PAINFULLY FUNNY!, 29 Aug. 2011
I cannot remember a TV show that has been so painfully funny and accurate as The Inbetweeners, if you missed it on it's first run on TV you have missed a comedy classic!
It comes across as a gut bustingly funny mix of Grange Hill, Superbad, American Pie, The Office and Peep Show, mix that with some of the most likeable characters ever to grace the TV screen and you have a ultimate cult classic, that everyone can associate with as the gang navigate those awkward years at High School.

Season 1: 2008
The Inbetweeners is a six-part series about four teenagers growing up in suburbia; a world of futile crushes, sibling brawls, getting drunk too quickly, fancying the girl next door, casting aspersions on your friend's sexuality and riding rollercoasters.
Will's (Simon Bird) parents have just divorced and he has unwillingly had to move and change schools. Previously enrolled at a private school, where he picked up some snobbish tendencies, Will now attends a comprehensive school and has had to make a new set of friends, Simon (Joe Thomas), Lee (James Buckley) and Neil (Blake Harrison), none of whom are that cool or credible.
*****
Season 2: 2009
Combine the juvenile smut of SUPERBAD with the cringing embarrassment of PEEP SHOW, against the 'stylish' backdrop of GRANGE HILL, and what do you get? E4's hilarious comedy THE INBETWEENERS season 2 is still a razor super sharp, one-liner packed celebration of the highs and lows of being a teenager. Perfectly capturing the relentless disappointment of suburban adolescence, the show's four main characters yearn for sex, booze and cheap thrills, without the emotional maturity, money or ID to get them.
*****
Season 3: 2010
The multi award-winning show returns in its third, hotly anticipated series. The Inbetweeners follows the same four friends, Will, Simon, Neil and Jay, as they try hopelessly to navigate their way through sixth form, with their hormones running riot. Neither the coolest kids in school, nor the ultimate nerds the four 'inbetweeners' try their best to improve their social standing, and more importantly impress girls, with typically hilarious results.
From Simon's wardrobe malfunction whilst taking part in the school fashion show, to Will trying to escape being known as the kid who shat himself in the exam, to Jay's trying to avoid his dog's attentions, to Neil's 18th birthday party, nothing goes quite to plan. But that's okay, because they have each other. No, wait... that makes it worse
*****
Although the episodes only run at just under half an hour, they offer the most accuratly observed laughs that has been on TV for decades.
Where the likes of Shamless has seriously lost it's edge. This show is just as sharp thoughout all it's episodes.
This is classic comedy at it's best.
See If You Like.....
Grange Hill.
Superbad.
American Pie Trilogy.
Peep Show.
The Office.
