5.0 out of 5 stars great game, worth renting first though..., 11 Sept. 2004
This review is from: Second Sight (PS2) (Video Game)
Over all I thought that this games major forte was the story line and the introduction of new skills and phycic powers, The stelth and gunplay aspects were also very good and if you like a game with a complicated plot then this is deffinetly for you. However if your interested in a poinless shoot 'em up such as quake, then perhaps not. The graphicsare also good and the game keeps a good record of statistics which are intresting and you can also repeat levels to improve upon yourself. phycic powers and controls in general are slightly difficult to get used to but are very effective once you get used to the controls.
This is deffienetly a great game although before you commit to spending heaps on it, it could be worth renting for a night or two, just to see if its "your thing".

5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant, 28 May 2003
This game is absolutly amazing, they seem to have got everything right. I have always enjoyed hand to hand combat games but usually that means something like 'Tekken', where you are just fighting. This combines hand to hand combat, gunmanship and with that extra litle twist that the game gives by use of the focus button so that you can atempt real 'matrix' moves yourself. It does sound complicated but trust me the fighting is easy to control, so taking out traind SWAT teams is a challenge, but not because of the complex nature of the controls, which is normaly a draw back. Also when you are in 'the matrix' you get supurb computer genarated graphics but when you 'jack out' you get real live dvd quality scenes preformed by the actors from the movie. All of the qualities that make a good game are combined so well in this game i swear you will enjoy playing on it.
