5.0 out of 5 stars 99% safe...but not in the bedroom department!, 30 Dec. 2006
iClear...It truely does what is says on the tin, which is to give your pride n' joy the protection it deserves. Made from beautiful, scratch-resistant perspex, this beaut protects the iPods o' so fragile screen from that nasty bunch of house keys which jingle dangerously close to your 30GB worth of fun! Easy to snap onto your Pod, this little life saver stays on secure with its snug fit, while allowing you to see all your fav vids in the clarity you deserve, and without making you feel like you're carrying around some tank armour in your jeans pocket! Put simply for the price you probably paid for your iPod, £6 for this ain't gonna skin ya any worse than you probably already are! 11 out of 10!

5.0 out of 5 stars Changes everything you thought you knew about "folk music.", 24 April 2006
Bruce Springsteen...Pete Seeger, obviously both names are huge influences when it comes to so called "folk music." However "We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions" changes everything you knew, or thought you knew about this genre, as The Boss himself put it. From the opening of this fantastic record, you can hear the sheer joy and inspiration that these sessions vent. It simply sounds like a bunch of folk, all revved up on some Old No. 7 Brand, having a fantastic time covering some of the most influential and potent folk music around. Many of the songs here were rightly made famous by legendary political activist Pete Seeger, which rings true throughout the barrage of acoustic guitars, upright bass and horn sections all blasting out to the best of their ability. From the opener "Old Dan Tucker" right onto classics like "O Mary Don't You Weep" and the legendary "We Shall Overcome" this record shines through with all the might of The Boss at his best and the undeniable aura of the influential Pete Seeger. Superb.

5.0 out of 5 stars In a word...Sheer utter magic, 29 Jan. 2006
This review is from: Dance (Audio CD)
"Dance", the title states and you envisage yourself emerged in another electro-pioneering Moog heavy outing of new wave synth...You saw wrong. Gary Numan's 1981 outing, (not aptly title) "Dance" is far away from his previous trips through a vast wasteland were us lonely, poor humans only have machines to keep us comforted (namely, Tubeway Army's 1979 outing; "Replicas" and Numan's fantastic 1979 effort "The Pleasure Principle"). "Dance" opens up a whole new tool chest in Numan's ideas, thoughts and more prominently, his lyrics. "Dance" delivers us an utterly dreamy mix of jazzy fretless bass and sax reverb, thanks to Japan's Mick Karn and a jaggy, hard egged approach to rock drumming, all in debt to Queen's Roger Taylor. "Dance" will have you dancing as much as a night out with the IT crowd in a gentleman's club but rather it will leave you breathless from classics such as "Slowcar to China", "She's Got Claws" and "Stories". In a word...Superb
