3.0 out of 5 stars Great if you like the dub version, but...., 16 July 2011
I've had this box set on my shelf for a few years now so I thought it was about time to give it a review.

Let me start by saying if you love the English version of Sailor Moon you will probably love this. The set contains The English version Episodes 43-82. However, that is all there is to it. If you like your anime to be uncut, in Japanese, and crammed with extras, this is not the set for you.

The art work on the box is also very basic. The box is a dark purplish sort of colour with the American Sailor Moon logo and different images of the main characters with a brief description of the main plot-line on one side. Not really the prettiest looking boxset in the world, considering the show itself is filled with magic and sparkles!

The DVD covers themselves continue in the same vein, with images of the girls on a dark purplish background. Some of the images creep onto the spine of the covers creating a bit of a messy look when displayed on a self. Most people probably wont really care about that though, I just like neat looking boxsets.

Overall, if you just want to pick up a collection of Sailor Moon R in English and are not bothered about extras, you should probably buy this set while you can.
Otherwise, if you would prefer the Japanese uncut version with subtitles, you might want to consider investing in the Region 1 sets instead.
