5.0 out of 5 stars VFM and great taste, 30 Sept. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Value for money as much smaller jars of other brands are the same price. But also it's made a marvellous difference to curries, cakes and cooked it some long stemmed broccoli and garlic. Also doubles up as a moisturiser!

KONG Refillable Catnip Hedgehog Cat Toy
KONG Refillable Catnip Hedgehog Cat Toy
Price: £2.49

5.0 out of 5 stars Top toy even after 3 months, 20 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought both the hedgehog and the mouse and out of the two the hedgehog is still frequently played with and does not get lost under the furniture. It is played with everyday and pulled about. Gives my two cats endless happiness and they love tossing about, chewing and chasing it. The mouse did not last and got torn in two after 3 weeks. Bargain and a must buy for cat owners

5.0 out of 5 stars Pricey but worth it, 10 April 2014
Previously I used to feed my kittens a common commercial cat food. When I started feeding them James' I noticed health benefits after a week. They are less hyperactive, their coats are glossier and their poops don't stink as severely. My weedier cat is not getting ill as much too. Their food has a higher protien content than other foods and has no cereal in it. They really love the fish dlavour too. Good price on here too

3.0 out of 5 stars Mixed feelings, 13 Jun. 2011
I decided to for a Phillips instead of a Sony model (I owned a wonderful dream machine for many years)

Pros:

1) Nice clear visual display. You can adjust the brightness too. Tells you what day it is
2) Stylish design, good for compact spaces
3) You can ajust the alarm to play radio, iphone or beeps.

Cons:

1) My major gripe is the design is not ergonomic enough, that is to say as the buttons are too small and not well spaced. If you are lying in bed and feeling blindly trying to turn the sound down or the alarm off it's not good for that and too fiddly unlike the dream machine
2) It has an annoying habit: if you put in your ipod to dock unless it is 'off' it will automatically switch to put your itunes on without you asking to do so. It puts you off from docking your ipod as you get things blasting out of the speaker unexpectedly.
3) The speaker sound is only slightly better than what comes out of the phone speakers

One may be better off with the dream machine as for a little bit extra it has a bigger speaker and remote control

4.0 out of 5 stars A bit of a shock....., 23 Jan. 2009
.....But not an entirely unpleasant on. It does take some getting used to though. The first two albums were very guitar based and this leans heavily to a more electropop direction, so it seems very weird at first. 'No you girls' 'What She Came For' and 'Live Alone' is a very catchy typically Franz rock/pop song in the vein of 'Do you want to' but the other tracks so elements of Orange Juice/Lyndsey wells/8O's synth/90's break beats. The tempo of the songs often change at the beginning and mid stream e.g. 'Bite Hard, What She Came Fo" which makes all the more exciting and creative. 'Katherine Kiss Me', the last track is slow and acoustic and seems abit of an odd choice to end on. If you are sole fan of guitar based music - stay way. But if you like twists and turns and fancy something varied I heartily recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Energy, 8 Sept. 2008
I really like this album as it has an amazing energy and anger that reminds me of the Clash. This was a bit of grower for me and I really appreciate what it's all about; the drudgery of every day life, with abit of economic harshness and nights out thrown in. They are singing about Britain Now. My favourite track of all is 'Away from Here' because there is no other song at the moment that captures how god damn tedious every day life is:'I am sick and tired / of working to be retired'. Alot of the songs also have an anthemic quality about them ('You're not alone', Had Enough). It only get fours stars though as I am perfectionist. There are just a couple of songs I don't care for ('This Song is About You' is a bit wet) but if you like old school rock with anger and energy, I really recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is as good as you remembered it was!, 23 Sept. 2007
This DVD comprises of 3 Volumes which is the better value than buying them individually:

Vol. 1: Let the Music Play: includes "Caputre the Moon" & "Boober Rock" : 2 episodes
Vol 2: Shake Fraggle & Roll: "Boober's Dream", "Mookey & The Minstels", "A Freind in Need" : 3 Episodes
Let There Be Rock: 2 DVD's that include Red's Club, The Secret of Convincing John, Junior Sells the farm, The Day the Music Died, The Doomsday Soup, Boober's Quite Day, Invasion of The Toe Tickler's plus a documnetary.

Fraggle Rock is as fabulous and exciting as you remembered it was! One cannot help but marvel at that care and technology that went into the production that has yet to be surpassed by even today's children's programmes. Fraggle Rock was created to help us understand the world around in a more positive light and you can't help but feel more positive after watching it. It appeals to children and adults alike with it's humour, fascinating muppets and sets, and very, very funky, catchy songs. Show this to any children you know and they will love it!

Only one niggle: the episodes are not in chronological order and the series are not available as region 2 sets yet; only in region 1 at time of writing (they are also quite hard to come by).

4.0 out of 5 stars A different but good kettle of fish, 5 Aug. 2007
If you are going to read this book you must go into it realising that it is not a follow on to Mr Nice as such. At first I was sceptical that I would enjoy the tale of Howard searching for Welsh roots and his family tree around the world, but it develops into someone trying to find their identity after a period in prison. It is interesting because you can't help but get sucked in by his charming, engaging story telling style, the people who he randomly hooks up with and the interesting yet bizzare snippets of historical information he gives us. (Eg, Welsh colonies in South America and Bob Marley and Elvis having Welsh heritage etc). Despite not smuggling any more he does lead an interesting and unusual existance that is worth reading about.
