Price: £20.90

4.0 out of 5 stars Great little clock, 30 May 2016

I've now used it close to a year. It's my main alarm clock. Good size, clear display and good white light. The battery is still going. The radio signal symbol is mostly on but sometimes goes off. Probably to do with the transmitter. Hasn't affected the time. The alarm is on the low side but loud enough for me. In fact it's just right. Couple of annoyances: The touch light beeps every time. That's annoying, especially to others sleeping close to you. When the light is on, the LCD viewing angle is not great, especially viewing from below. Won't be an issue if you place it at the same height or lower than your head. Not an issue if your not using as an alarm clock next to your bed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, powerful pressure washer, 30 May 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I've only had it for a couple of months but has been excellent so far. I used it to wash my driveway and the difference before and after is unbelievable (see photo). It's a large area and I went through every inch at close range so it took a couple of hours. I also washed the cars so used it for over 3 hours. The washer kept going. No issues with the hose as some people reported. I tried to use the patio attachment but it just made circular marks in the dirt (see photo) so I used the main nozzle directly, which worked fine. It's powerful enough for home use and shifts even the toughest dirt. I hope it lasts for years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great unit with built-in Traffic Module, 31 Aug. 2009
Purchased this a couple of months ago, my first SatNav. I have used it for trips to Wales including remote parts of Pembrokeshire and to France, Belgium and Switzerland.

Solidly built unit with clear day and night display modes. Automatically switches to night mode when dark. Windscreen mount is solid and can be adjusted in all directions. A firm mount is important for touch screen operation. Touch screen works well and does not get finger marks. Scrolling by dragging works well and I didn't have any problem getting used to. The unit locks on to satellite quickly and stays locked. It starts up instantly from sleep mode. I never switch off. The in-car charger cable also works as the ariel for the traffic module.

Navigation Software:
Installed the NavDesk software (on the PC) found and recommended an update. Update was large but was quick over broadband. Updating the unit was straightforward.

Addresses are easy to find, either by postcode, street name or area. Takes you to the destination with turn by turn visual and voice instructions. Can switch to look at the overview map too. Text to Speech works reasonably well and even foreign street names are pronounced well. Explore area feature is useful and it's easy to find points of interest near any area, not just near where you are. Time To Go calculation is too optimistic. Snapshot button adds your current location to the bookmarks (My Places). Useful if you need to return to some place, but you don't know the postcode or the postcode covers the whole village. Used the 2D walking map a few times. Worked ok. Need to walk in one direction for a bit before it can workout the direction of walking. Used to get back to the hotel after wandering in the town in a new city.

I didn't find any map inaccuracies. If you miss a turn it often tells you to u-turn when possible. It's often best to ignore it and continue and it will find another way to join your route.

Traffic module:
Works ok where there is coverage. Reports traffic incidents and rerouting seems to be to avoid just the road the incident was reported on. Often it's better to avoid the area. I don't know if it's possible.

Haven't used the FM Transmitter, MP3 Player and Bluetooth yet.
