5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant edge of your seat disaster movie, 3 Jun. 2001
With a great build up to the actual disaster, the characters are all very different and each have their own story lines. This all comes to a head with the earthquake that brings everyone together to save loved ones and to keep order during a state of panic. Brilliantly told through multiple story lines that never get in each other's way and some excellent performences from some great yet under rated actors such as Tom Skerrit (Alien), Sharon Lawrence (NYPD) & Charles Dutton (Alien 3). It is one of the supior efforts of a TV disaster movie, never overdoing it wih cheese or predictability. A must own vid!

4.0 out of 5 stars Jeff Fahey, what more could you want?, 4 Mar. 2001
Jeff Fahey is 'god'. This film is carried by his supreme talent. Volsoo could learn a thing or two from Fahey. Unfortunatley, the film is badly made, with poor effects, poor direction and seriously poor make up for the face of Dark Man. The evil that is Jeff Fahey is far better than any other villains Hollywood has ever seen. Every line he delivers with a sense of demonic hatred and power that even Jack Nicholson would envy. This film is worth a look for all Fahey fans and all fans of cheesy, funny dramas with an edge.
