One of the best maths books I've bought., 16 Oct. 1999
This book is fantastic. I've had to complete some pretty intensive Calculus revision lately, and this book has proved a godsend. Where others struggle to display procedures and principles clearly, this text excels. Well worth the brass!

A comprehensive coverage of a wide range of mathematics., 26 Sept. 1999
As a student currently studying a Mathematics QTS degree under Robert Smedley's tuition, I may be thought of as some what biased. However, I bought this book on the recommendation of fifteen plus unconnected people and have not been illadvised. The text is clear and plain, with a good detailed explanation of topics. There are then numerous examples followed by pages of questions for the reader to tackle. I would recommend this book to anyone who is studying mathematics at Alevel or degree level as a must. Buying it through Amazon.co.uk saves you £4, which as a skint student means approximately an extra 2.5 pints of beer or 20 fags. So go now and buy this book ...
