3.0 out of 5 stars It's OK, but that's all ..once you find out how to use it!, 19 Jan. 2015
It's OK says it all. Of course, there are no instructions with it, you are supposed to know intuitively what all the symbols mean: what the orange arrow means and what the blue arrow means and what the 3 white dots mean and how do I save postcodes for later use ...! And no - I don't expect to have to go all around the internet to find out!

There is no easy way to input 'home' - I end up putting in the postcode every time. There doesn't appear to be an easy way to store routes either - or find alternative routes before setting off. It does recalculate quickly if you don't take the suggested route, though, and it picks up the satellite signals very quickly. However, one good point is that unlike my last satnav at least the voice can now pronounce my home town of Fareham and not call it Far Ham!!saying that it can give you updates on traffic is misleading - only if you have a smartphone, and I don't - (you mean you do have one? How sad - Do you not have a life?) Even if I did I wouldn't use the phone and drive at the same time!

5.0 out of 5 stars Why read the Apocrypha?, 16 April 2011
This well presented, easy to read translation has really helped me to understand some of the thngs in the New Testament of the Christian Bible that don't make sense otherwise, as it contains so much history and background to the Jewish culture that non-Jews wouldn't necessarily know, and which the writers of the New Testament didn't think they needed to explain. For example: when Jesus made his triumphal procession into Jerusalem , why did the crowd throw down palm branches when they were on the mount of Olives - why not olive branches? The answer is in Maccabees!

I throughly recommend this version as a useful tool to help bible study.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good little dictionary for everyday use, 15 Mar. 2011
This is a good(handbag or man bag)sized dictionary, perfect for tourist/traveller use. Not really suitable for students as it isn't in depth, but hey - it doesn't set out to be that. Easy to use, and an acceptable size of print for those of us who permanently forget our glasses.

This little car-shaped optical mouse is efficent, but gives you that little bit more - with its lit up headlamps and rear lights, it really is a bit of an executive toy. Move over the Newton's Cradle! This is fun with an excuse!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun for surfers, 14 Jan. 2011
This is just an efficient little computer mouse, but has enough pzazz to make you smile each time you turn on your computer. It brings out the Thunderbirds are FAB Lady Penelope in you! A good feeling to get so reasonably priced, too.
