4.0 out of 5 stars As good as Language,sex.., 11 April 2008
This review is from: Pull the Pin (Audio CD)
Love this album,it's just a shame that bands like this dont get played on the radio any more (apart from the lead single) It's the same for Travis,Manics,Supergrass,Shed seven etc, they'd rather play American r & b & not play talent from this side of the pond.Anyway Bank Holiday Monday should be a single, and can we have a greatest hits after that, please, come on guys, you've had enough hits, the same goes for Muse...and fans of Stuart Cable should know he has his own show on Kerrang radio at 10am,weekdays which is "Guess the year" Even some old Stereophonics tracks get played.Quality.

4.0 out of 5 stars Where's "South of the border", 11 April 2008
This review is from: Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
Ok Robbie's had some great singles & big hits, but lets get to the point.South of the Border was one of the most underated singles of his Career.I Like most of Robbie's stuff, even Intensive Care & Rudebox grew on me,but why miss out the hits,i.e not making it a proper greatest hits from that era.(It's like Kylie's ultimate missing out the gem that was "some kind of bliss" If the record company make an updated greatest hits like other bands used to such as The Beautiful South, etc then please include this,as we are all sick of the predictable "angels" & "Let me entertain you" now.Sort it out peeps.

3.0 out of 5 stars 18 songs on 2 cds,not treating the fans!, 11 April 2008
This review is from: Stop the Clocks (Audio CD)
Everyone knows Oasis have done some great songs, however as a best of,this is a rip-off to the fans.Sure everyone has their favourites and someone even joked to me that sureley the best of,is the first 2 albums, however Be Here Now produced some great singles "Stand by me" "Go let it out" "d' you know what I mean" & the excellent "Little by little & The Hindu Times" were great singles too.I know Oasis can put whatever tracks on the album they want, but at just 9 songs on each cd,this is poor.I know Oasis have made some long playing singles but at only around 45 minutes on each cd,we could have had about another 4 or 5 singles on each cd.Even the Manics had 20 tracks on one greatest hits cd & they had to miss some songs off,D'you know what I mean.

4.0 out of 5 stars kylie's back on form!, 11 April 2008
This review is from: X (Audio CD)
This is Kylie's best album since "Impossible Princess" (Some kind of bliss, breathe, did it again era)The fact of the matter is people arn't liking it as much as they should because it isnt "safe Kylie" On first listen I wasn't that impressed but now it is a fave. When 2 hearts came out,I loved it,then got sick of hearing it on the radio & now love it again now its not being overplayed.Wow was always brill but the best track for me is Nu-di-ty which sounds like Kylie is trying to sound like Luciana on vocals. It's more of a dance album than chart album but again if u liked songs like "some kind of bliss and Limbo" then you will love this.I'm not her number one fan as I have always preffered Dannii but this album has put Kylie back on track. (Didn't like Body Language)

5.0 out of 5 stars Bargain! Cd & Dvd for a low price!, 8 April 2008
This review is from: Every Second Counts (Audio CD)
Love the album even though "Hey there Delilah" has grated on me now due to being overplayed on the radio.I have to start the album from track 2 so I dont hear that song. The rest of the album is quite rocky and singalong.Listeners to Kerrang radio will already know the singles "Hate(I really don't like you") and "Our time now".The Dvd is great as an extra & shows them live in concert in their hometown + some music videos.Overall this is a must for people who missed out on the album first time round as you get your moneys worth, just dont expect dull ballads as this band have got a shed load of songs that will make you want to jump up and down to.

1.0 out of 5 stars 1 good track..guess which one!, 25 Jan. 2008
This review is from: Spirit (Audio CD)
I gave this a try after I loved the single "Bleeding Love"
What a letdown.Especially beings as this album took a year to get "the right songs" It's dire. The songs on it merge into one.The only thing it is useful for is for falling asleep to as the rest of the album is that bland.I bet even Avril Lavigne is gutted she gave one of her songs away,as even this sounds dull sung by Leona,no angst nothing. There are too many "vocal gymnastics" like Mariah/Celine that we could do without. It's more of a soul album, than r & b.If you like bleeding love, just download that one track otherwise you'll be straight back to the shop swapping it for something that you will play more than once. You've been warned. It may have sold alot of records, but that doesn't mean its any good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sarah Cracknell is back!!, 25 Jan. 2008
This review is from: The Journey Continues (Audio CD)
Great song, using that famous classical piece that everyone knows from the bank advert.Together with a great dance tune & heavenly vocals from St.Etienne's Sarah Cracknell, this is one of the few singles in ages that has actually got me excited about music again.

5.0 out of 5 stars JAMES BOND! Must be a single, 15 Jan. 2008
This review is from: Scouting For Girls (Audio CD)
Nearly didn't bother with this album after a few negative reviews, however it's a complete corker. If u like the 2 singles so far, you'll love the whole album. In fact I was gutted when it finished. The best track on the cd is easily "James Bond" which should be a single as it sticks in your head all day after you've heard it.Also love the secret track, straight after James Bond which is all about Michaela Strachan with very clever lyrics.A complete joy & not one depressing tune!

4.0 out of 5 stars Something for everyone., 2 Jan. 2008
This review is from: 100 Hits: 90s (Audio CD)
Lovin' this 90's cd.It is good because it doesn't just feature the songs that are on all the other 90's cds. There are also some real gems on here, that arn't on other comilations, such as Scarlet,Echobelly,Voice of the beehive,They might be giants and Zig and Zag!Also cd4 is great for indie & rock and cd5 is definitely one for the clubbers.
Also fans of Robyn (With every heartbeat) will be happy as it contains her first top ten hit from 1997 with the excellent "show me love"

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure masterpiece!, 28 Dec. 2007
The most underated band of the last 10 years are back on the road, touring and this singles collection is a great reminder of why you liked them first time round. Not only that, but if you're a massive fan, then it's worth it just for the unheard songs (without having to pay silly prices for the imports)On top of that, every single is released in order.
Now if only we could have a new studio album, now the band are back together, been waiting since the excellent "truth be told" Come on record companies,it's time this band are back where they belong,on a major label & on the nation's top radio stations.
