4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good series, 3 Jan. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The main focuses of this series are:

* Tina and Bette's relationship following the birth of their daughter
* Jenny's new relationship with transgender Max
* Shane's relationship with series 2 newcomer Carmen
* A tragic event in Dana's life

This series is undoubtedly more exciting than series 2, but there are still episodes and story arcs which drag a bit. This series is also a lot more emotional and explores far more issues than the previous two series did. However, there is some inconsistency in the characterisation of certain characters, Tina in particular. I went from not minding her in series 1 and 2, to really disliking her in series 3.

Series 3 is definitely not the best one, but will nonetheless be enjoyable for any L Word fan - it still has the typical L Word comedy, drama and sexiness that I love!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect !, 3 Jan. 2014

These glasses are fantastic quality - solid, heavy and hold a really generous amount. The rocking effect is subtle but adds a really quirky feature to what is otherwise a very classy looking glass.

This review is from: Utopia [DVD] (DVD)
Utopia is an amazing series - one of my all time favourite British ones. It hooks you in straight away and keeps you guessing throughout. I wasn't too sure if I'd enjoy it as the plot didn't really sound like my kind of thing, but it was brilliant from start to finish. The cast are superb and the way it's filmed is beautiful! Just buy it - you won't regret it!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very good..., 23 Dec. 2013

This app runs really slowly and I don't like the way it formats the articles. I don't really think Buzzfeed lends itself very well to mobile/tablet devices.

3.0 out of 5 stars It is what it is, 23 Dec. 2013

A decent enough black ink cartridge - it does what it should. However, it did seem to run out quicker than I would have expected...

Abnormal Psychology
Abnormal Psychology

Edition: Paperback

4.0 out of 5 stars Good summary, 23 Dec. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Abnormal Psychology (Paperback)
This book provides a great summary of loads of different psychological disorders and behaviours. It's thorough and easy to understand; the addition of pictures makes it a lot more interesting to read than other books which are all text. I would definitely recommend this to a psychology student - I've used it in both my first and third year at university.

Trust Oslo 15.6 inch Laptop Carry Bag (Beige)

2.0 out of 5 stars Okay..., 23 Dec. 2013

This laptop bag was okay for a while, but then the strap suddenly fell off one day and I could no longer use it. My laptop isn't particularly heavy and I never carried anything more in it than my laptop and a pad of paper. Wouldn't buy from this company again.

The Vegetarian Student Cookbook (Hamlyn Cookery)
The Vegetarian Student Cookbook (Hamlyn Cookery)
by Hamlyn
Edition: Paperback

3.0 out of 5 stars Could be better, 23 Dec. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I like this book, but think that it's not that well suited to being a student cookery book. Some of the recipes are really good, but others use a lot of random ingredients that would work out to be quite expensive (not very well suited to poor students!). I prefer to use a non-vegetarian cookbook and then tailor the recipes to my vegetarian needs.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great first cook book, 23 Dec. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book has served me well through my two and a half years of being a uni student. There's a fantastic range of recipes, some delicious and some a little random. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this to any student who's looking for a collection of relatively simple, yet super tasty recipes!

Black Swan (DVD + Digital Copy) (2010)
Black Swan (DVD + Digital Copy) (2010)
Dvd ~ Natalie Portman
Offered by A ENTERTAINMENT
Price: £1.30

4.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully complex, 23 Dec. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is the first film I've seen with Natalie Portman in, and her acting is pretty flawless throughout. The story is intriguing, complex and at times creepy. Nina's obsession with becoming the White Swan keeps you gripped, as does never quite knowing what's real and what's not. I really enjoyed this film - Darren Aronofsky is a wonderful director!
