1.0 out of 5 stars Twice as good as Part 1!, 27 July 2011
This soundtrack is twice as good as the first part. Problem being the soundtrack to Part 1 was rubbish. There are some interesting tunes, but this was not the way to sign off in terms of the soundtrack for the Harry Potter franchise.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bring back either John Williams or Patrick Doyle for Part 2!, 22 Nov. 2010
Ok- it's not the worst HP soundtrack in the series (that title goes to HPOTP), but this is not the finale soundtrack that I believe most film fans were looking for. To think that Alexandre Desplat has already been asked to do Part 2 is incredible. He will need to pull all the tricks out of the bag to ensure that the series ends on a musical high. So far, not impressed.

4.0 out of 5 stars EndTitle Credit Music!!!, 10 Nov. 2008
This review is from: Quantum of Solace (Audio CD)
Overall, a good soundtrack, with nice references back to Casino Royale. But, where on earth is the end credits music? It's missing. Shame on Sony, as this was great.

5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful, warm and enlighting film, 1 Nov. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Paris [DVD] [2008] (DVD)
A beautiful film, brimming with humanity. Yes, some of the stories overrun (i.e, the fisherman), but overall, a wonderfultake on life, and all its associated ups and downs. Juliette Binoche was execellent, and truly deserves an ocasr nod for her performance. Some very funny laugh out moments (the kids dancing scene) and sad ones too. This is a must see film. Paris is beautifully shot and acted.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bond is Back!, 14 Nov. 2006
This review is from: Casino Royale (Audio CD)
Finally, after waiting 19 years (since The Living Daylights), we have a Bond soundtrack that can rank alongside the greats of many of John Barry's efforts in this genre. This is simply the best David Arnold Bond soundtrack. Why? It contains less of all that electronic noise, and is back to good orchestration. As this is the beginning of Bond's spy career, it is only fitting that the classic Bond theme is really only heard at the end of the film (and so at the end of the soundtrack). African Rundown is perhaps the most fast paced piece of music (similar to the other Arnold Bond pre-title cues). Good cues throughtout the cd. Though, please be aware, the title song, You Know My Name, is not on this soundtrack, only heard in various cues. Good effort all round.
