3.0 out of 5 stars The Bat and the Batty!, 19 Sept. 2017

Fun and exciting, well, for the most of it, somewhat disappointed with the ending, kinda felt like a bit of a cop out, though in a way, it was slightly amusing. A bit racey in a couple places, a fair bit of Harley fan service (niiice), but the dynamics of once mortal enemies teaming up, albeit a tad begrudgingly, is an interesting idea, especially one this crazy!

Overall, the disc is packed with the usual suspects, a couple of classic Batman animated series featuring Harley, features on the voice actors, characters, trailers, however the so-called 'Sneak Peeks' features, the animated movies they are 'sneak peeking' have been out for several years now, there's nothing really to sneak a look at, we pretty much all have them already, so it would appear, that there was nothing new coming for them to tease us with, which is a tad annoying! The minifig is nice too!

A fun and entertaining series, pity the show hasn't had a proper DVD release, other than these first few episodes. Deserves a full series release.

3.0 out of 5 stars Future Sound of Something, Just Not The Underground!, 2 Aug. 2017
Not bad, but I wouldn't give this anything more than a 3 star, as this CD has 'run-of-the-mill' selection of tunes, plus the first half of CD1 is incredibly boring, thankfully it picks up afterwards, though nothing outstanding. CD2 is much better, but here again, nothing special, however if the tunes came on in a club, I wouldn't feel the need to leave, unlike the first half of CD1, which I most definitely would have left the club!

Belgian Jumpstyle ...V.2

2.0 out of 5 stars Nowhere to jump to, 27 Jun. 2017
After enjoying volume 1, I was quite eager to buy volume 2, but unfortunately it has some issues! The main and most annoying, is the lack of drum beat, and as being the essential element to Jumpstyle music, having so little of it in this release is rather silly. The selection of tunes is very good, but the way they have been mixed together, hardly any of the beat from the tunes is left over, the most we get is about 30 seconds per track, of which is usually just the build up bits, the rest is the melody or backing, not the main thrust of the tune. All of which makes for a rather irritating listening experience.

The original miniseries, released in the UK as 'Gobots the Original Full-Length Story' on VHS, as part of 'The Video Collection' released by Kideo Video, this DVD is basically the same thing, except in the series format, and has a few things that were not part of the UK VHS release, though are minor and not easily spotted. The good thing about this DVD is that it can be played on a regular UK DVD/Blu-Ray player, the only thing you may require, is a TV that can display NTSC colours, which is pretty much most modern UK TVs.

Whilst most known for Scooby-Doo, Hanna Barbera has done plenty of top quality shows, this being one of them, although overshadowed by the Transformers animated series, the Gobots series is fun and despite being a product of its time, it can still hold up against modern day shows. The animation is very good, the lines are pretty solid, the story and characters are fun, if you haven't seen the series before, now is the time to get acquainted with this 80s classic, you won't be disappointed!

If your a fan of squelchy Trance, then this is a compilation for you, 4 CDs of acid bliss!

No Title Available

3.0 out of 5 stars Not That Sexy!, 17 Feb. 2017
In all respects, this compilation barely contains a single Hard Dance tune, it's mostly comprised of House, Bass, Acid and Drum & Bass, so it would be more accurate to leave out the 'Hard' bit from the title and just have it as Sexy Dance Nation.

Overall, many of the tunes are lack luster, but there are some that pleased, if you are to buy this, pay no more than £3, as there are better compilations out there, this is nothing special.

4 X Harder 2 by Various Artists

3.0 out of 5 stars 4 X Quieter, 15 Jan. 2017
A very good CD with a good selection of tunes, though some of the tunes were not actually that hard, especially the Hard House tunes, but the biggest problem, is the audio levels, CDs from around this time usually have pretty good volume, but I found, even at the loudest settings on my player, the audio level was actually quite low. In short, 4 X Harder, but not 4 x Louder, which is a shame!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bangin', 21 Dec. 2016
This review is from: Light Sound Dance (Audio CD)
I bought this solely on a whim, as I saw a few artists I recognized and decided as it was cheap, that I would give it a go... so very glad that I did! Lot's of Bassline, Garage, Acid House, Electro House genres, all blended superbly together, an almost perfect selection of tunes, everything that the Ministry of Sound mix/mashup CDs should be, yet aren't.

1.0 out of 5 stars I Am Not Impressed, 12 Dec. 2016
This review is from: I am Raver (Audio CD)
Sadly, another let down from the Ministry of Sound, this is not a 'Rave' compilation, no self respecting raver would consider this a good compilation, there's only a few tunes on the entire compilation that are decent, more on the first than the second or third CDs, I had to force myself to listen to them all, as I always give something a chance even if I can't stand it.

This should have been called 'I Am Cop-out', 'I Am Dull' or 'I Am Pointless', or something like that, they tagged the 'Rave' title merely to appeal to a larger audience, for if this was the compilation at an actual rave, I would have immediately left and asked for my money back, it was all just sooooo boring..... but then again, I really should not have been so surprised, as this basically just follows a very long trend of weak MoS releases, which promise much, but deliver almost nothing.

Thankfully there are 'real' rave CDs out there, so I would recommend seeking them out and not parting any money for this 'poser' release!
