Don't be fooled by the claim that this product is 85% Cotton - the set I received were 14%, and when I contacted the seller, I was sent a replacement that was only 55% - an improvement but not as described. If you want cotton rich socks too keep your feet happy, look elsewhere....

I had the TalkTalk Youview box before this tiny, elegant little thing, and this knocks that into a cocked hat, as they say. Its response is fast, the voice recognition is accurate, and the content streams without a hitch or a drop-out. I haven't explored the content extensively, but so far I see loads of movies and TV to keep me happy. Recommended.

The best of the best - more quality content than Sky and all the other commercial broadcasters put together. Easy to navigate, stylish interface. Love it.

Heartlines and The Web: The Amanita Rubescens Experience
Heartlines and The Web: The Amanita Rubescens Experience
by Stuart Deeks
Edition: Paperback
Price: £18.99

5.0 out of 5 stars A Renaissance Homeopathic Vision for the 21st Century, 11 Jun. 2013
I confess I cannot claim to have a dispassionate opinion of this book or its author. As an acquaintance to the author and as a first-hand receiver of the medicine explored in this book, I find my life has been both subtly and profoundly changed by the actions of Stuart Deeks. The medicine itself, in various homeopathic strengths, has send its ripples of influence through my physical and emotional being, in ways that are balancing, nurturing and healing. The kinds of connections this book makes between ancient knowledge, modern geo-political shifts, and the ills of contemporary society, are indicative of the scope of Stuart Deeks's understanding, his compassion for humanity, and his sincere and practical efforts to reconnect us all to aspects of our nature that are universal, fragile, and easily dismissed by pessimistic minds.

This book charts the process of 'proving' a new homeopathic remedy in great detail, showing the levels of sensitivity, hard work and intelligence required. Stuart Deeks's style is unique - direct, learned, sometimes colloqiual, but always refreshingly intent on communicating effectively. In the final chapters he provides some fascinating notes and connections to various sources of ancient wisdom, including relevant symbols, chi gung-style harmonious movements, and synchronous connections to recent world events that suggest a universal arena of meaning for this little mushroom-derived medicine, Amanita Rubescens.

5.0 out of 5 stars outstanding, 7 Sept. 2009
This review is from: Lhasa (Album Standart) (Audio CD)
This is quite simply one of the finest albums of 2009. Less exotic in its arrangements than the previous 'The Living Road', these songs are built upon the principle that Lhasa's voice and her brave, stark lyrics are the focal point. The spare but nonetheless intriguing and accomplished arrangements never overwhelm Lhasa's performance, and the result is a haunting, beguiling and unforgettable experience. These songs insinuate themselves into your consciousness, ravishing in their unadorned beauty, yearning and yet graceful in their lyrics, often dreamlike in their use of symbol and strangeness that is, yet, delivered with an honesty and matter-of-factness that is striking.

I do miss Lhasa singing in Spanish and French (these songs are all in English), but that is only a small loss compared to the wonder that is this album.
