Puma Women's Running Pure Night Cat 3/4 Tight - Black, Large/Size 14
Puma Women's Running Pure Night Cat 3/4 Tight - Black, Large/Size 14

5.0 out of 5 stars Great capris - liked them so much I got 3 pairs, 4 Jun. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
These are slightly thinner material than ones I bought several years ago, but they are well made and they are not see through (a problem I found with a new pair of dark grey UA capris). The cut is comfortable and the waistband is secure. They have breathable mesh material at the back near the top, and a very useful pocket which can hold keys, but is probably too small for a smartphone. The reflective patches around the bottom are both stylish and very useful for running outside in the evening. I liked these so much I ordered a further 2 pairs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice comfortable top that looks great - but make sure you order a size larger than your usual, 4 Jun. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This top looks great and feels great on. It's really comfortable, and is a nice, long top: probably a good 4 inches longer than standard which is good when you are fairly tall (5' 8) and have a long body. The built-in sports bra is more substantial than I have found for other tops, and if you are a modest cup size it may suffice without additional support. I found the top to be smaller than expected. I usually get Adidas tops in size 14 for a loose fit, but the Puma tops seem to be on the small side.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stylish and comfortable top - but make sure to order a larger size than usual, 4 Jun. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This top looks great, is well made and is really comfortable to wear. It has a built-in sports bra which is okay, but I prefer to wear a sports bra underneath it as well. The racer back works well with a sports bra, and the arm holes are generous enough without being too large. It wicks sweat away and dries quickly after washing. My only small gripe is that even though I went for a large (size 14) which is a size larger than usual, it is still a tighter fit than I would like. The sizes do seem to run small on these - so make sure you order a larger size than usual.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great stand for a great price., 14 Feb. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I got this stand as my partner has a larger Stagg stand for his guitar which has survived 3 house moves and does a great job. I hoped the smaller ukelele stand would be as good, and I was not disappointed. This stand is well made, suitably padded, well balanced and simple to set up (just pull the legs apart). It holds my ukelele securely and the rubber feet mean it doesn't do any damage to my floor. The top of it is just around 1 centimetre below the top of the ukelele body and is also nicely padded to prevent any damage to the ukelele. Great stand, and great value for money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent quality lens but the focal length takes some getting used to, and it's not the best value m43rds lens., 7 Nov. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I swithered for a long time before biting the bullet on this lens, as it doesn't have the best reputation particularly compared to the 7 - 14mm, and it's not cheap. However, after borrowing one from a friend, I was impressed with what it can do, and a cashback offer from Olympus brought the price down to a level I felt was fair.

The lens is small and light, so it's easy to bring it with you "just in case". It can be a little soft wide open and in the corners, but if you're using it for landscapes you'll want to stop it down a bit anyway for a suitable depth of field. As it has such a wide FOV, flare can also be a bit of a problem leading to reduced contrast, so a lens hood is a must. Don't get the overpriced Olympus one: I got the JJC Olympus LH - 55B which is much cheaper and does a good job.

I'm still finding this a hard focal length range to compose in. It's easy to get photos that are full of nothing, with everything off in the distance. You really need some foreground interest to add depth. You can use it for architectural photos, but will need to correct the uwa distortion using software unless you want photos of buildings falling backwards.

Advantages of the 9 - 18mm over the 7 - 14mm alternatives:
* You can take photos at a more normal FOV in the 14 - 18mm range which makes it more versatile.
* You can use filters. The Panasonic 7 - 14mm can't take filters directly.
* It's smaller, cheaper and lighter
* You can get some great photos with a bit of practice (I'm still working on this...)

Overall, I'm really glad I bought this lens at the price I got it, and find it a worthwhile addition to my camera bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous, quality rug., 19 Oct. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This rug is gorgeous. I bought it for a room that has polished wooden flooring, and it makes the room look and feel cosier. The pattern is stylish, the rug is nice and thick, feels good quality and looks great. It does move around a lot on this kind of surface so you need to buy separate underlay to prevent that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality belt, looks good, and sizing seems accurate., 13 Jun. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a great belt to wear with dresses, or to hide the join between a top and a skirt. The belt is made from thick, good quality elastic is easy to clasp together, and does not move around a lot or fold over. It looks great and fits comfortably.

The sizing guidelines seem correct. I'm a UK size 10 - 12 (about 28" waist) and ordered a small. The belt is not too loose but is far from being too tight, and fits comfortably.

For the price, I am very happy with this purchase and may buy again in other colours if I have suitable dresses to match them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best value for money m43rds lens, 7 Feb. 2015
I got this lens for Christmas last year. Given the price, I wasn't sure how good it would be, but it provides great value for money. The lens is more than twice as large as the 14 - 42mm kit lens, but is very light. It seems sturdy enough, but I wouldn't like to drop it. It's plastic construction and not weather proof.

The lens is really sharp, even wide open, and can produce shallow depth of field with good bokeh, especially at longer focal lengths. Due to the slow max aperture, it's not ideal as a portrait lens. At 45mm the depth of field isn't shallow enough, and at the longer end you need too much working distance. It's great for taking close ups of architectural details in large buildings, or slow-moving animals that aren't too close or far away. I've also got some nice shots of sunsets and moon rise at the longer end of the zoom.

The lens is light enough to use without a tripod in good light, though as it is non-stabilised this may only apply to users with Olympus cameras which have IBIS. In low light, the focal length means you really need a tripod. Minimum focus distance is around 90cm away meaning you can't really use this for close-ups of small objects as an alternative to a macro lens.

The lens isn't perfect, but it's great for what it is. It's much lighter and easy to carry around than the new pro 40 - 150 zoom, and much better value for money.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent value for money lens - great for portraits, and for macro work using extension tubes, 25 Jan. 2015
This lens is an excellent addition to any micro four thirds kit. You can regularly get it for about £180, and the quality is astounding. It is very sharp, even wide open, and takes excellent images. The lens is a similar size to the 14 - 42Rii kit lens, but weighs about twice as much. Although it is not a metal lens, it feels reassuringly solid. It is fast to focus, and can produce great blur with shallow depth of field.

The focal length makes it an obvious choice for portraits. Some people prefer the 75mm for this, but for head and shoulders crops you'd need a very large room for adequate working distance. This is almost as good a lens (you can't get as wafer thin a depth of field as with the 75mm, and the bokeh isn't quite as creamy) at 30% of the price. The focal length is a little tight for street shooting and snapshots. You can however use it for some types of landscape shots and flower shots. It doesn't have a very close minimum focusing distance, but when used with macro extension tubes it also makes an excellent macro lens. I'm still getting used to this lens, but I'm very happy I bought it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Handy take-anywhere camera - great in good lighting conditions, 25 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this as a Christmas present to replace a lovely old Canon A550 which had reached the end of it's life. This camera is much smaller, lighter and sleeker, with over double the megapixel count and a higher resolution display. What it is missing is the optical viewfinder. Asides from that, the camera is very pocketable, easy to use, and takes great snapshots. It's also easy to transfer files to your PC for storage and editing. It's perfect for the intended use. Like most Canon's, the colours are a little on the warm side, but most people prefer that to cooler tones.

Due to the small sensor size it is not great for low light situations or indoors with natural lighting. And as you would expect in this price range it doesn't shoot RAW files so it's harder to e.g. fix the white balance in post processing. Also, the camera will tell you what settings it has chosen for a picture (ISO, aperture and shutter speed) even though it will not let you alter them. That is useful information, but when you are thinking you would prefer different settings, as I sometimes do, then it is really frustrating.

All in all, this is a great camera, particularly if you can get it under the £60 mark. It sometimes goes in lightning deals, so look out for those rather than paying full price if you are not in a big hurry to get it.

I've included a few photos taken with the camera to give an idea of the colour tones and sharpness (or otherwise) of the lens. Bear in mind these are 10 times smaller than the originals (I can't upload the full size jpegs) so it doesn't give you an idea of the resolution.
