3.0 out of 5 stars Good for double-charging, 29 Oct. 2016

This little device was a godsend to my Galaxy III. However, and I don't know if this is because of the device or the battery, it doesn't always charge the battery to 100% despite showing a green light. I tried two different batteries with the same outcome.

1.0 out of 5 stars Abusing the craft of writing., 29 Oct. 2016
The author needs to stop "publishing" these unedited turds and start taking the craft seriously. Even a cozy mystery needs tension and drama, none of that exists in the entire first chapter (which is strangely short). Dialogue punctuation is all over the place. Sorry, Lorrie, you need to stop.

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely awful, 11 April 2016
Reads like a first draft with typos and annoying repetitions. Seems like the author published this mess without any form of editing.

Best music app on the market. Only con I have noticed lately is that it's becoming bloated, and it's becoming a little too expensive.

Couldn't ask for any better nappies. Whereas Pampers leak on any given moment, these ones don't. I'm very happy with them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works in symbiosis with Prime, 2 May 2015

A fantastic little device. Slotted it into the TV without any fuss. Installation took a few minutes and away I went. It's lightning quick compared to my Virgin box so I'm gonna use it for Netflix as well. Definitely worth it if you're a prime customer.

There's been a lot of talk about where to put the router. I have mine tucked away in the bedroom but the signal is still strong. I don't experience any lag or any weird lines on the TV. The remote control works brilliantly--responds quickly too!

SPLINTERED SECRET SERIES BOOK 1; Horror flash fiction: Mystery cozy
SPLINTERED SECRET SERIES BOOK 1; Horror flash fiction: Mystery cozy
Price: £0.99

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Flash Fiction, 31 Dec. 2014
The problem with most self-published work is that it's usually not revised enough. Unfortunately, here is a prime example of a writer who hasn't paid enough attention to the basics.

There are several formatting mistakes with incorrect dialogue tags for example. And you know something's not right when the work is copyrighted the year 20104.

Flash fiction is considered to be a maximum 1000 words. Yet there are chapters here for some reason. The prose is turgid, "telling", and could definitely have needed revisions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Always handy, 6 Dec. 2013

This USB stick is very small so be sure you keep it safe so you don't lose it. I purchased it for my Mac and although there was a pdf included telling me to download some software for it I ignored it and deleted all the content. I haven't measured the speed in copying, that doesn't interest me much since it's down to your computer's hardware as well and mine is pretty good.

5.0 out of 5 stars A new leaf - a new life, 25 Jun. 2013
Playing games can sometimes be very predictable: You know that if you play an FPS, sooner or later you will die in a horrible way and therefore make sure you have more ammo and focus more on killing the baddies first. In a classic point-n-click adventure game you know your progress in the story is halted because of the one-eyed giant blocking the road and the only two objects you can pick up is an enormous onion and a kitchen knife.

Thank goodness, then, that we have Nintendo. Their Animal Crossing series have spellbinded gamers for years - and this time I'm onboard too.

There is no story as such, although there is progression. You are the mayor of a village and as such you can decide projects, expand your house and talk to the animal citizens about various things. You pick fruit from the trees, hunt bugs on the beach and catch fish in the rivers; you take out loans from Tom Nook and expand your house, in which you later can customize in various ways.

It's all great fun. The pacing is deliberately slow, this is not a game for the impatient, but it feels highly rewarding to finally finish that bridge or fountain you started. Later, you will also have an option to travel to an island for more fish and bugs collecting.

The game oozes a terrific sense of humour with plenty of puns and funny characters; your town is a relaxing place to visit after your real life work, rather than a cut-throat project where you need to oversee budgets, unemployment rates and traffic jams. Invite people from your friends list and they join in on the fun, it's guaranteed to keep you occupied for a long time ahead. I absolutely love it!

And once you've taken the hard decision to stop playing for the day, the game saves with a "see you soon!". As if the inhabitants of your village know you'll be back; after all, you're not just a player - you're a friend.
